CAMPING UNDER CANVAS AT TILFORD.. 2015

Wednesday 27th to Sunday 31st May A hardy few Surrey Campers, together with visitors from afar afield as the Isle of White braved the changeable weather of late May to finish up the children’s half term break with a few nights of camping under canvas. Tilford Nature Reserve Camping Site has been a favourite venue for over 50 years.

Located just off Tilford Village Green, right in the heart of unspoiled woodland, its a true adventure playground for children and a superb location for exploring the surrounding area.

This year’s late spring camp attracted a good crowd of visitors and their children on Saturday afternoon. The bonfire provided the centre for cooking the evening meals and the centre of the camp site turned into a Cricket pitch for a great game for everyone..
